Milo Đukanović završio posjetu Baltiku
Predsjednik Crne Gore Milo Đukanović danas je, na kraju trodnevne posjete zemljama Baltika, boravio u Letoniji, gdje je razgovarao sa predsjednikom te zemlje Egilsom Levitsom,
Predsjednik Levits, zahvalio je cnogorskom kolegi na tome što je Crna Gora aktivna članica NATO-a. On je prvu Đukanovićevu posjetu Rigi nazvao istorijskom.
Prva zvanična posjeta predsjednika Crne Gore Letoniji, istorijski je dan za nas. Hvala vam što ste aktivna članica NATO-a. Letonija jasno i kontinuirano pruža podršku i procesu proširenja EU, što nije samo u interesu Crne Gore, već i ostalih zemalja regiona, jer želimo da se proces tranzicije završi što prije. Crna Gora je ostvarila suštinski napredak u evropskim intergacijama i smatram da će brzo postati članica EU. Letonija će vam pružiti tehničku pomoć, naročito u oblasti vladavine prava, naveo je Levits.
Đukanović je ponovio da je Crna Gora lider u regionu kada je riječ o EU integracijama.Naše uvjerenje je da je to put bez alternative za naš region, bez obzira što se sticajem nepovoljnih okolnosti, kao refleksa sa globalne scene, pokušava kreirati i alternativna ponuda za Zapadni Balkan. Naše uvjerenje je da je jedini ispravan put za društva na Z. Balkanu pripadnost evroatlanskom sistemu vrijednosti. Drago nam je da to tako razmiju i naši baltički prijatelji, poručio je Đukanović.
Zahvalio je Letoniji na kontinuiranoj podršci evropskoj perspektivi Crne Gore. Đukanović je položio cvijeće na Spomenik slobode i obišao Muzej okupacije Letonije, kao i vojnu bazu Adaži, gdje je razgovarao sa našim vojnicima koji su raspoređeni u okviru misije Ojačano prisustvo NATO-a na Istoku.U ceremonijalnom dijelu programa zvanične posjete predsjednika Mila Đukanovića Letoniji, predsjednik te zemlje Levits priredio je zvanični ručak u njegovu čast, kojem su prisustvovali i letonski premijer Krisjanis Karins i potpredsjednica parlamenta Dagmara Beitnere Le-Galla.
