Ekonomski i investicioni plan
za Zapadni Balkan biće podsticaj za oporavak regiona, ocijenjeno je na video
konferenciji na kojoj je učestvovao ministar vanjskih poslova Srđan
Darmanović sa evropskim komesarom za proširenje Oliverom
Varheljijem i šefovima diplomatija Zapadnog Balkana.
U fokusu sastanka bio je
ekonomski i investicioni plan za Zapadni Balkan, čije usvajanje se očekuje 6.
oktobra, kao i projekti koje su države regiona kandidovale kao prioritetne za
finansijsku podršku EU.
Evropski komesar Varhelji
istakao je značaj projekata iz oblasti energetike, zaštite životne sredine,
digitalizacije, socijalne politike, ocjenjujući da će plan doprinijeti razvoju
ekonomije, konkurentnosti i veće zainteresovanosti investitora EU za Zapadni
Balkan.
Tokom izlaganja, ministar
Darmanović je kazao da su u vrijeme sveukupnih izazova, Zapadni Balkan i EU
izgradili neraskidive veze, pri čemu su potvrdili solidarnost, jedinstvo i
altruizam, kao vrijednosti koje podjednako dijele članice EU i države
kandidati.
Usvajanjem ekonomskog i
investicionog plana, pružiće se novi podsticaj regionu za saniranje negativnih
posljedica pandemije. Podrška EU će ojačati ekonomski razvoj i konkurentnost
ekonomija Zapadnog Balkana – kazao je ministar Darmanović i dodao da bi plan
trebalo da se zasniva na Agendi povezivanja, kroz sve njene dimenzije,
uključujući energetsku bezbjednost, mlade, društveni napredak i zaštitu životne
sredine.
Šef crnogorske diplomatije je
rekao da je naša država prepoznala značaj daljih ulaganja u putnu i željezničku
infrastrukturu, životnu sredinu i energiju, što predstavlja ne samo pokretač
daljeg razvoja u Crnoj Gori, već i priliku za promovisanje regionalne saradnje
i poboljšanje međusobnih veza.
Sastanku su, osim Darmanovića,
prisustvovali i potpredsjednik Vlade za evropske poslove Sjeverne Makedonije Nikola
Dimitrov, šefovi diplomatija Albanije Gent Cakaj i
Bosne i Hercegovine Bisera Turković, pomoćnik ministra
vanjskih poslova Kosova Muhamet Brajshori i ministarka za evropske integracije
Srbije Jadranka Joksimović.
