Kabinet predsjednika Milatovićevu spornu izjavu objašnjava kao "dio ukupnog konteksta obraćanja", kriv im DPS
Izjava predsjednika Jakova Milatovića izrečena na Parlamentarnu skupštinu NATO-a povodom obilježavanja tri decenije od potpisivanja Dejtonskog mirovnog sporazuma, dio je u kontekstu tog obraćanja i sama za sebe ne odražava kompleksnost i značaj događaja u Bosni i Hercegovini, kazali su se iz Kabineta predsjednika države pokušavaju da objasne njegove navode da se Bosna i Hercegovina devedesetih godina desio „građanski“ rat.
Video snimak njegove izjave objavljen je na platformi X (bivši Tviter), a nakon saopštenja u kojem te poruke nema.
Iz Kabineta predsjednika Crne Gore kazali su da je Milatović u više navrata jasno istakao da u potpunosti prihvata i poštuje odluke međunarodnih sudova, koji su, kako navode, nesporno utvrdili da je sukob u BiH imao i karakter međunarodnog oružanog sukoba.
- Također, predsjednik Milatović u kontinuitetu ističe da Crna Gora, kao dobar susjed, iskreno podržava razvoj i napredak BiH, uvažavajući njen suverenitet i teritorijalnu cjelovitost. On je u više navrata iskazivao pijetet prema nevinim žrtvama rata u BiH i pozivao da se utvrdi puna odgovornost za njihovo stradanje - naglašeno je u saopćenju Kabineta predsjednika.
Navode da pokušaj da se predsjednik Crne Gore predstavi kao neprijatelj Bosne i Hercegovine te neko ko ne poštuje žrtve ili negira bila čiju odgovornost, predstavlja političku manipulaciju Demokratske partije socijalista, optužujući tu stranku da je bio aktivan učesnik ratnih dešavanja 90-ih, te da iz prve ruke zna sve o karakteru tog rata, "kome je doprinijela svojim politikama".
- Takođe, bilo bi moralno i opravdano da se predstavnici te partije napokon suoče sa posljedicama njene istorije, kada je u pitanju rat u BiH, i vrijeme iskazuje poštovanje prema žrtvama. Konačno, što se tiče istorijskog revizionizma u odnosu na sukobe 90-ih - ne postoji očigledniji primjer od kontinuiranih nastojanja DPS-a-aa da izbjegne odgovornost za ono što su tih godina zastupali iu čemu su učestvovali - navedeno je u saopštenju.
Iz Milatovićevog Kabineta poručuju da je predsjednik Crne Gore bio, ostaje i biće uvijek prijatelj Bosne i Hercegovine, "i saveznik na evropskom putu, okrenut saradnju, stabilnost i prosperitet dvije države".
